Training objective:
The aim of the training is to familiarise the participants with the situation, administrative and legal regulations of grape and wine production in the world and in Hungary, the biological basis of viticulture, the ecological factors influencing cultivation, the theory and modern methods of cultivation technology. The students learn the chemical, microbiological and technological basics, methods, operations and machinery of grape processing, winemaking and treatment, storage, bottling. The students will learn about the management and financial aspects of economic and efficient production, the specific issues, conditions and practices of product marketing and wine marketing.

Graduates of this specialisation are qualified to carry out production management, development and marketing activities in viticulture, oenology, wine trade and related fields (municipalities, specialised administration, tourism, catering, training of oenological professionals, professional representative organisations, rural development institutions), as well as to set up, operate and manage vine-growing and wine-producing enterprises.
